I’d quite like to visit all the Disney parks worldwide.
This trip I’ve added Disneyland and California Adventure, Hong Kong Disney and, just in the last couple of days, Tokyo Disneyland and Disneysea! Put that with Disneyland Paris and all four parks at Walt Disney World, I think that’s just Shangai Disney and whatever it is they end up doing in Abu Dhabi, not that I’m over keen to visit either country!
Both parks in Tokyo are completely different to any of the others I’ve visited. Tokyo Disneyland averages 41k visitors a day and Disneysea averages 34k. I’m pretty sure because we visited on the weekend the numbers were way above average; it certainly felt like it!
You all know by now that a couple of my wee friends (Fudge & Baby Budge) have been with me this entire journey. Ivesometimes wondered if I’m a bit odd because of it, but then you see folk at Disney with their soft toys actually lined up,sitting to watch the parade…
I kid you not. There was one girl with at least five varying sizes of Marie the cat (name the movie), all sitting on a blanket to watch the parade. Then there was the girl sitting on the ground while her Donald & Daisy toys sat on chairs…
There are various parades and events at all Disney parks, but at these two, for stage shows you have to go in a lottery like draw to be ‘picked’ to attend an event…if you are not picked, you can’t enter the draw that day, but you can then pay for access. It’s a very different system to Florida!
It costs an extra £12.50 just to sit on the ground at designated ‘premier’ places. If I’m using my own backside as cushioning I don’t see why I should pay for it!
Disneysea is not like anything I’ve ever seen. I’m not sure how to explain it, so here are a few images!

On Saturday at Disneyland we did get to meet Mickey, I’m sure it’s as much of a thrill for him as it is for us!

As for now? Well, right now I’m somewhere in the sky heading back towards Edinburgh via Frankfurt with lot of memories from my time abroad!
