I’m going to post here things that I did not know that I discover on my travels!

1. The New York Public Library has been in more movies than Meryl Streep!
2. The YMCA sued The Village People after they released their song, YMCA, as, being a Christian organisation they did not approve of The Village People. The case was settled out of court when the YMCA realised the the group were endorsing all the good things about tge YMCA!
3. Barbed wire was first demonstrated in San Antonio, TX in 1876.
4. The letter W is pronounced as a V in Hawai’i. So Hawai’i is actually pronounced HaVai’i!
5. The ukulele is pronounced ookoolele!
6. The firetrucks in Hawai’i are yellow.
