That was a question I asked myself this afternoon at Loan Pine Koala Sanctuary. I understand when you have children with you, that might be something you do, but as adults on your own??? Maybe I’ll try it and report back. Maybe not!
On arrival here in Brisbane yesterday I dumped my stuff and headed out for a wander. For me, that’s how I like to discover new places. Some folks use maps, or have a strict plan not me. Which is how I come across random things!

Those Bluey fans will no doubt be interested to know that Bingo and Bluey now have a City Cat Ferry renamed as City Dogs for each of them. I found Bingo yesterday, I’m now on the lookout for Bluey!

Yesterday was census day in Australia and I was surprised that I had to complete a form! However, if you were in Oz on the night of 11 Aug you complete it! Some questions I really had to think about!

Public Transport here in Brisbane is so reasonable! $.50 for the ferry! I hot the bus today too, still waiting for tge updated cost but I think it’s about $2.
Transport sits under Brisbane City Council which is why I think it is a reasonable cost. As far as I can work out, everyone pays, but pays a little. If our First Minister is reading this (he’s not a subscriber but you never know), it seems like a good plan to me! Not free travel for a big wevtion of our popukation and more expensive for everyone else, just Β£.50 or Β£1 for everyone!
Today I visited Loan Pine Koala Sanctuary it was wonderful. I’ll probably do a separate post on it, but for now, if you want loads of pictures, there is a seperate page you can look at now from my honepage menu. No, I did not try and steal one, but my goodness, what beautiful and amazing animals.
