Hello from Adelaide. My pland changed this week and I’m spending more time in Adelaide than I thought, but probably not seeing as much!
If you’ve been here since the start of my trip I’m sure you remember my pet pals Lali and Carlie that I looked after in Hawai’i, well this time I’m looking after Tully and Pania in Adelaide!

It’s quite nice to be in a house again after hotels and hostels since I left the US!
Tully and I walked to the Botanic Gardens yesterday. We got all the way there only to discover dogs were not allowed in! All the other Botanics I’ve visited have allowed so, it was a bit disappointing. For me more than Tully! However, we meandered back in a totally different way, meeting girls from the Botanic School on the way who were more than delighted to pet Tully and she was more than delighted to sit there!
I also noticed that Miss Tully loves stairs. That might be because her house is all on one level, or it might just be because she has that crazy cocker gene! There were a few times where she got quite close to getting into buildings, until she actually did.
We were about 10 minutes from home when she decided she was determined to get into one of the University of Adelaide buildings. We had a bit of a stand off until she realised that if she wriggled enough, she could leave her harness and lead dangling in my hands, run right up the rest of the stairs and through the automatic doors with the biggest look of glee on her face!
Thankfully she couldn’t reach with her paws to call the lift as who knows which floor she might end up on!!
Thankfully there was only one corrider she could get down and it was fairly short. I wrestled with her harness for a few minutes getting it back on as securely as I could (she has snother in the house I prefer so we’ve used that today).
Do you know sye trotted out of there so darn pleased with her wee self you’d have thought it was her graduation day! There were students wanting for the lift when I sheepishly came round the corner with her, I felt I had to explain the situation to them who all invited Tully to join their class. Funnily enough there did not seem to be an invite for me!
