Disclaimer, I may be a wee bit drunk writing this.

Aulani is the Disney resort on O’ahu and I had been saving to bring Keith here in 2029 for his 50th. It’s not cheap, hence saving for a few years. Well, seeing as that trip is highly unlikely now, I thought I’d take myself off for dinner tonight. What service, what food and oh my, what a view. For those of you who know Disney, you’ll know Disney service. In all the times I have experienced Disney service, I have never had such perfect service. There was nothing I could fault. My server Ashton was just amazing. Every course was brought by a different person, each one had at least a few words to say which was just lovely and on leaving the restaurant I got a huge from Paulette, one of the restaurant greeters. I think I’ll be coming back here, but probably in low season when the rooms are not $1000 a night!

I was expecting a lot of fireworks tonight but I’ve only heard a few and seen none! Considering I have the furbabies here, I’d call that a result!
