I’m not sure where the last (just over) month has gone, but I’m typing this out on my phone in the sky on my way to Auckland!

I’ll admit starting this trip in Rochester, where Keith and I had spent a few years was a risk, but one thst I thought worth taking and it was. I reconnected with the wonderful Nicole & Bobby! Last time we were in Rochester Nicole was pregnant with their first child so it was an absolute joy to spend time with the McLean boys! I just thibk I need to practice my board games begire returning!

I was able to tick off one of my bucket list items in NYC by taking in a broadway show, The Great Gatsby! My ticket was on one of those late deal websites, My $33 ptosecco was just as expensive as the ticket!

Onwards to Houston & San Antonio, ticking Texas off my list of states to visit! Anaheim in Cali saw me be an honorary Disneyland Citizen,that badge is safely back in Tranent already.

Hawaii and Alaska completed my american adventure. Both states i8lived for different andcsumilar reasons. I don’t think I’ve been anywhere else where around another corner is a more stunning view than the previous one!

I was wondering about any regrets I have wirh the US section of the trip. Firstly, not getting a photo with Nicole, we failed on that one!

Overplanning and underplanning were both in there too as well as forgetting I need time to rest too!

Thank you America, you were fab. Let’s see what New zealand holds for me!
