Where am I?

Today I passed a signpost for the Cairngorms scenic point! My hotel is on York Place, Elm Row is just around the corner and I’ve walked along Princes St, George Street and Hanover Street. Heriot Row and Frederick Street are not too far aware either! The bus stop has buses to Portobello, Corstorphine and Helensburgh and the local Woolworths have these in stock:

Then I saw my pal Rabbie sitting up on the hill!

Dunedin! As I’ve been to Dunedin in Florida, it seemed only right to visit Dunedin NZ on my travels.

One of the attractions here is the train station (I know, it’s not a big place)! Rightfully so I think. Dunedin has a lot of similarities to Edinburgh, but Waverley needs sone tarting up to come up to the standards here in Dunedin! However it seems to be onky the scenic rail journeys that leave from here now.

I’m quite enjoying the Intercity buses to get around here on south island, although I do think they coukd be on to a good marketing gimmick by handing out branded tissues as you get on the bus. I swear ‘sniffy wiffy’ only survived that six hour journey because he fell asleep for the last 90 minutes! Obviously I don’t condone or encourage violence, unless it’s to do with nasal noises…
